Children’s Day Celebration – 2025

Greetings from Thanthai Roever Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Perambalur!!

We are delighted to share that our school joyfully celebrated Children’s Day Celebration – 2025 on 13th November in the Remigius Convention Hall at 10.00 a.m.

The celebration commenced with the traditional Lighting of the Lamp ceremony, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge. This was followed by Tamil Thaai Vazhthu and a melodious prayer song, after which the heartfelt Welcome Address was delivered.

A warm gesture of honour was extended by presenting a shawl and memento to our Chief Guest, Mrs. Latha, DEO, Private Schools, Perambalur. The Felicitation Address was delivered by the Head of the Institution, followed by an inspiring Chief Guest Address by our esteemed guest.

Prizes were then distributed to the winners of the Children’s Day and WICE Talent X Competitions, followed by a series of vibrant cultural performances that added colour and cheer to the celebration.

Here are the colourful programs:

🎯 Rainbow Parade – Students beautifully showcased the various qualities of childhood.
🎯 Exclusive News – An engaging act where a student reporter interviewed our former Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
🎯 Children’s Court – A thought-provoking presentation where children emphasized the importance of smiling, playing, and embracing one’s inner child.
🎯 Theme Dance – A colourful and energetic performance that celebrated the essence of joy and served as motivation for all students.
🎯 Tamil Kavithai – A heartfelt poem recited by our faculty member, Mr. Palanisamy, highlighting the beauty of childhood.

All the cultural events were beautifully organized and coordinated by Ms. Jeslin,WICE Teacher and Mrs. Joice Spinna,Spoken- English Teacher, whose creative efforts made the celebration more vibrant and memorable.

Teachers expressed their warm words of appreciation and gratitude towards the students and extended their best wishes for their bright future.
The event concluded with a sincere Vote of Thanks, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem.
It was indeed a memorable celebration filled with joy, laughter, and the pure spirit of childhood.
