We are delighted to share that Our School, in collaboration with WINNERS INSTITUTE OF COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH, successfully organized the ENGLISH COUNCIL INAUGURATION CEREMONY 💫on 08.07.2026.The theme of the programme, “EXPRESS AND CONNECT,” reflected our commitment to nurturing confident and effective communicators.

The dignitaries received a grand and royal welcome from students dressed as kings and queens , creating a majestic atmosphere for the occasion. The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp 🪔, followed by a soulful prayer song. The gathering was warmly welcomed by Mrs. Angeline Jenitha, PGT, through her heartfelt welcome address. As a token of gratitude, our Respected Principal honoured the Chief Guest with a shawl and a memento. On behalf of WICE ,the chief guest honoured the school authorities.

The Felicitation Address was delivered by our respected Principal, who emphasized the importance of English in today’s global world 🌍.
The highlight of the event was the grand unveiling of the English Council name, “LINGUA LUMINA,” through a colourful balloon pop-up🎈. The Chief Guest, MR. STALIN AMALRAJ , BUSINESS DIRECTOR ( WICE ) officially inaugurated the English Council and delivered an inspiring address, motivating students to communicate confidently and make English a part of their daily lives.

In the next part , English Council Leaders were honoured with sashes and badges
🏅 ENGLISH COUNCIL LEADERS :

– Speaker: Ms. Dharani Priya (Grade 8A2)
– President: Master Ragav (Grade 8A3)
– Vice President: Ms. Aishwarya (Grade 7A1)

In addition, one minister from each grade (Grades 4 to 8) was selected. The newly appointed council members took the oath to promote English and create a vibrant English-speaking environment throughout the school.

🥇The occasion also celebrated the achievements of students through the English Through Creativity Competition, where winners from Grades 4 to 8 were honoured with prizes.

The next segment included Students’ Performances. The events are :

– Emoji Storytelling – English Connects everyone
– The English Clinic – A fun and meaningful English skit
– Then vs Now – A connection between the past and the present
– Echoes of Thrones – A magnificent royal performance
– Myth Busters – Debunking common myths and presenting facts about English

The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Mrs. Sameera Banu, PGT, expressing sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the grand success of the event.

🌟 “LINGUA LUMINA” 🌟marks the beginning of a new journey to inspire students to learn, speak, and celebrate English with confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm.
